Watch: Vamshhi Krrishna slams six sixes in an over, joins Indian trio in elite list | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Andhra batter Vamshhi Krrishna achieved a remarkable and rare feat on Wednesday as he clobbered six sixes in an over during a Col CK Nayudu Trophy match against Railways in Kadapa.
Pulling off a miraculous effort, Krrishna became only the fourth Indian batter after Ravi Shastri (1985), Yuvraj Singh (2007) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (2022) to crack six sixes in an over.
In a stunning exhibition of clean striking, Krrishna collected 36 runs in the Damandeep Singh over amid his breathtaking 64-ball 110 on the fourth and final day of the Andhra vs Railways encounter.
It turned out to be an absolute nightmare for Damandeep as Krrishna slammed him for six maximums — all coming on the on-side.

The first Krrishna hit was a slog-sweep as he fetched the ball from outside off and deposited it over the deep mid-wicket fence. Krrishna then went down town on the second ball, smacking it over the long-on fence.
On the third ball of the over, Krrishna picked up the full-length delivery from Damandeep and smashed it over the deep fence once again.
The fourth ball of the over, once again saw a Krrishna slog sweep sailing over the deep fence. On the fifth ball, Krrishna went a bit squarer as his conventional sweep went over the deep square-leg boundary.
Krrishna then ended the Damandeep misery with the sixth six, rocking onto the backfoot and clubbing the ball over the deep fence, yet again.
Amid a stupendous power-hitting display from Krrishna, the Andhra vs Railways match ended in a draw.
After Railways scored 378 in their first essay, Andhra piled up 865 for 9.
